When looking at St Lucia villa rentals it is important to know about the general requirements are as a tenant. A security deposit is required to the amount of one month’s rent. This deposit is required immediately when you decide on your preferred property to ensure you secure the tenancy. One month’s rent is also paid prior to you moving in and rentals are paid monthly in advance.

It is important during the renting process that you know what is and is not included in the rental. For example does it include water, cable/internet, electricity, cleaning services, phone etc.? Inclusions vary between each property.

Once the tenancy is agreed the tenant is bound by a contract that is signed by all parties. The agreement will describe in detail all the requirements of the tenancy and may be subject to change where applicable on renewal.
